Later this week we will be celebrating four decades of Earth and Planetary Science teaching and research at The Open University. To mark the occasion a full programme of research talks will be taking place on Thursday and Friday (7th and 8th October 2010). Many of the contributions are from past staff and students. In addition to the talks, we will also be holding an Open Day this Saturday (9th October 2010). Everyone is very welcome to come along and have a good look around. It starts at 10 am and goes on until 4 pm. There will be lots of talks from famous scientists, events for the kids, tours of the laboratory facilities and much, much more.
